Alfred Toepfer Scholarship Programme
The Alfred Toepfer Scholarship Programme has existed since 1996 and was expanded in 2005. It supports the final examinations phase in studies at universities in Germany, especially European studies in the fields of cultural studies and the humanities, but also in the fine arts and the performing arts, architecture, agricultural and forestry sciences. Every year, 30 to 50 scholarships are granted, each worth € 920 per month.
The target group includes talented and committed students under the age of 30 from Central and Eastern European countries who are about to take their final examinations. Courses of studies leading up to a Bachelor’s degree are excluded. German students can apply for support while studying abroad in Central and Eastern Europe.
The scholarship is granted over a period of up to one year.
